Neighborhood highlights: Real Estate, history, restaurants and more

Named in honor of heroes buried at Arlington National Cemetery in 1867,
Arlington, MA is the birthplace of "Uncle Sam" Wilson and the first
Public Children's Library. Outdoor recreational attractions include the
Minuteman Bike Trail (11 miles beginning in Davis Sq. in Somerville,
passing through Alewife Station in Cambridge and running all the way to
Bedford), Spy Pond Field and Playground, Menotomy Rocks Park, Robbins
Farm and Skyline Playground, McClennan Park and a town beach at the
"Res".

Arlington's Mass Avenue is host to great restaurants, offering everything from the exotic meal to the simple burger. Arlington Real Estate
provides an equally interesting variety of homes. In the East Arlington
area, home to The Capital Theater, you'll find many newly renovated
condominiums, large multi-families and single family homes lining the
Lake Street area. Other notable neighborhoods include
Jason Heights in the mid-town area which is home to some of the most
stately properties, and Arlington Heights, popular for more modest home
sales and easy commuting.

On street overnight parking is prohibited without a permit in all of the Arlington neighborhoods.
